Terms of Service for Accommodation Booking

Effective Date: November 2024.

Welcome to Orston Stores Limited. By booking accommodation with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not proceed with the booking.

1. Booking and Confirmation

  1. Eligibility: By making a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

  2. Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email from us.

  3. Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.

2. Payment Terms

  1. Payment Methods: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking using the methods specified on our platform.

  2. Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. Full Refund: You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before check-in to receive a full refund.

  2. No Refund: Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the check-in date will result in the full booking price being charged.

  3. No-Shows: Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

  1. Check-In Time: 2pm on the arrival date.

  2. Check-Out Time: 11am on the departure date.

  3. Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Accommodation Use

  1. Permitted Use: The accommodation is to be used solely for lodging purposes by the guests named in the booking.

  2. Prohibited Activities: Guests may not:

    • Conduct illegal activities on the premises.

    • Smoke indoors.

    • Bring pets unless specified in the booking.

    • Damage property or disturb other guests.

Failure to comply may result in eviction without refund and charges for damages.

6. Guest Responsibilities

  1. Condition of the Property: Guests must leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.

  2. Liability for Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay and will be charged for repairs or replacements as necessary.

  3. Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. Orston Stores Limited is not liable for lost or stolen items.

7. Changes to Your Booking

  1. Modification Requests: Changes to your booking (e.g., dates, number of guests) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

  2. Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), we may cancel or modify your booking. Refunds or alternative arrangements will be offered where possible.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy here. 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  1. Orston Stores Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your stay or use of our services.

  2. Our total liability for any claims related to your booking will not exceed the amount you paid for the booking.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of UK. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in UK.
